· The objective of the simulation study is to identify the heat transfer enhancement in rectangular duct e.g.: Solar air heater, solar water heater, etc.
· Solid work used to design the geometry and export to Ansys for simulation (Academic version used to simulate the geometry).
· Turbulent model standard k-ɛ - wall enhanced model was used to analyze the work.
· Graphics result- Contour plot of temperature, velocity, turbulence wall Y plus were taken to study.
· It clearly shows that more turbulence created closer to the rib and wall surface which lead to more heat transfer and needed considering pumping power for pressure drop.
