The flow of air through the respiratory airway of the human lung bronchioles is studied in this present study at different mass flow rates and the hydrodynamic characteristics of the flow inside the bronchioles on an idealistic model. The model is a varying cross-section at each bifurcations. The model is created in Solidworks and a CFD simulation is carriedout in OpenFOAM-5. The following images represent the flow simulation results.
