Recently we encountered the following error statement from FloEFD (SolidWorks Flow) which prevent the simulation to run.
"Some of the components that were disable are lost"
This error statement showed up after we have modified the CAD model and upon the 'run' command. We know it is due to boundary condition setting issue and could not identify the specific problem boundary condition.
Suppressing and deleting all boundary condition does not eliminate the error statement also.
The following is the solution we found.
Step 1: [Flow Analysis] >> [Tools] >> [Check Geometry]
Step 2: Click [Apply to Project]
Step 3: Click [Check]
Step 4: Exit [Check Geometry]
Step 5: [Flow Analysis] >> [Project] >> [Rebuild]
Step 6: [Flow Analysis] >> [Solve] >> [Run]
Step 7: Run will be prevented and the problem boundary condition will show up (simply enter edit the boundary condition and click on the 'tick' to exit)
Step 7 many need to be repeated a few times if there are more than 1 problem boundary condition
